Mudrai is a community-driven platform. Our strength comes from the trust and integrity of our community members. These guidelines establish the standards of behavior expected from all participants, including traders, advertisers, and community administrators. Violations may result in warnings, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans from the Platform.
1. Trader Code of Conduct
All traders on the Mudrai platform are expected to uphold the following standards:
1.1 Honesty and Good Faith
- Always act honestly in all trade interactions. Do not misrepresent payment status, amounts, or trade terms.
- Complete trades in a timely manner. If you accept a trade, you are obligated to fulfill your side of the agreement.
- Communicate clearly and promptly with your counterparty through the Platform's built-in chat.
- Do not attempt to take negotiations off-platform to avoid escrow protections.
1.2 Payment Responsibility
- Sellers: Only release escrowed crypto after you have verified receipt of the full fiat payment in your own account. Do not rely on screenshots alone.
- Buyers: Send the exact agreed amount via the agreed payment method. Provide proof of payment promptly and mark the trade as paid only after the payment has been initiated.
- Use payment methods that you own and control. Do not use third-party payment accounts.
- Do not use payment methods known to be easily reversible for large trades unless both parties agree to the risk.
1.3 Communication Standards
- Be respectful and professional in all interactions.
- Do not use abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or harassing language.
- Do not spam or send unsolicited promotional messages to other users.
- Keep trade-related communications within the Platform's chat system for dispute evidence purposes.
2. Dispute Evidence Standards
If a dispute arises, the quality of evidence you provide is critical to a fair resolution. Both parties should adhere to the following standards:
2.1 Acceptable Evidence
- Payment Proof: Screenshots or PDFs of bank/payment app transaction records showing the amount, recipient, date, and transaction reference number.
- Account Statements: Bank or payment provider statements confirming receipt or non-receipt of funds.
- Communication Records: Screenshots of relevant communications (the in-app chat is automatically available to Admins).
- Blockchain Transactions: Transaction hashes or blockchain explorer links showing on-chain activity relevant to the dispute.
- Video Evidence: Screen recordings of payment processes when screenshots alone may be insufficient.
2.2 Evidence Requirements
- All evidence must be authentic and unaltered. Submitting fabricated, doctored, or misleading evidence is a serious violation and grounds for permanent ban.
- Evidence should be submitted promptly after the dispute is filed. Delayed evidence may receive less weight in the Admin's assessment.
- Redact sensitive personal information (account numbers, personal details) that is not relevant to the dispute, while keeping relevant transaction details visible.
- Provide context for all evidence. Explain what each piece of evidence shows and how it relates to your claim.
2.3 Prohibited Evidence Behavior
- Submitting fabricated or digitally altered screenshots or documents.
- Submitting evidence from unrelated transactions or trades.
- Submitting AI-generated or deepfake evidence.
- Coaching or pressuring your counterparty to withdraw a legitimate dispute.
- Filing frivolous or bad-faith disputes to delay or harass counterparties.
3. Admin Code of Conduct
Community Admins are held to a higher standard than regular users. Admins who violate these standards will be immediately stripped of their Admin status and may face permanent bans.
3.1 Impartiality
- Admins must remain completely neutral and impartial when resolving disputes.
- Admins must recuse themselves from any dispute involving someone they know personally, have traded with recently, or have any conflict of interest with.
- Admins must base their decisions solely on the evidence presented and the applicable guidelines.
- Admins must not communicate with either party outside the official dispute channel about the case.
3.2 Diligence
- Admins must review all submitted evidence thoroughly before making a decision.
- Admins should request additional evidence or clarification when the available information is insufficient.
- Admins must acknowledge new disputes within 24 hours and aim to resolve disputes within 72 hours.
- Admins must document their reasoning when resolving disputes.
3.3 Confidentiality
- Admins must keep all dispute evidence, personal information, and trade details strictly confidential.
- Admins must not share dispute details with anyone not directly involved in the case.
- Admins must not use information obtained through dispute resolution for personal trading advantage.
3.4 Prohibited Admin Behavior
- Accepting bribes, gifts, or any form of compensation from parties involved in a dispute.
- Resolving disputes in favor of friends, associates, or personal contacts.
- Using Admin privileges to access user data for purposes unrelated to dispute resolution.
- Deliberately delaying dispute resolution to benefit one party.
- Engaging in trades while simultaneously resolving disputes for those trades or related parties.
4. Becoming a Community Admin
Community Admins are promoted from the existing user base. This is a privilege earned through demonstrated trustworthiness and active participation in the community. The selection process considers:
4.1 Eligibility Requirements
- Trading History: A minimum number of completed trades demonstrating active and honest participation on the Platform.
- Trust Score: A consistently high trust score based on trade completions, positive counterparty reviews, and dispute history.
- Community Standing: Positive reputation within the community with no history of Terms of Service violations, fraudulent activity, or bad-faith disputes.
- Platform Knowledge: Demonstrated understanding of the Platform's features, trading mechanics, and supported payment methods.
- Time Commitment: Willingness to dedicate regular time to reviewing and resolving disputes.
4.2 Selection Process
- Candidates may self-nominate or be nominated by existing Admins or the community.
- Existing platform operators review candidates based on the eligibility criteria.
- Selected candidates undergo a trial period where they handle disputes under supervision.
- Admin status can be revoked at any time for violations of the Admin Code of Conduct or inactivity.
4.3 Admin Compensation
Community Admins are volunteers. They are not employees or contractors of Mudrai. Admins may receive community recognition, exclusive badges, and other non-monetary benefits as a thank you for their service. Any future compensation structures will be announced transparently.
5. Violations and Penalties
Violations of these Community Guidelines or the Terms of Service are subject to the following graduated penalty system:
| Level | Action | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Warning | Formal warning recorded on account | Minor communication violations, first-time late payments, failing to respond in a timely manner |
| Temporary Suspension | 7-30 day trading restriction | Repeated warnings, filing bad-faith disputes, abusive behavior toward counterparties |
| Extended Suspension | 30-90 day trading restriction | Serious violations, multiple suspensions, attempting to circumvent trade protections |
| Permanent Ban | Permanent account restriction | Fraud, submitting fabricated evidence, money laundering, identity theft, Admin corruption |
The severity of the penalty depends on the nature of the violation, the user's history, and the impact on other users. Mudrai reserves the right to skip lower penalty levels and apply immediate bans for severe violations. Users who are suspended or banned retain the ability to complete or dispute any active trades through the normal escrow process. Penalties are applied to wallet addresses and may extend to other addresses identified as belonging to the same person.
6. Prohibited Trade Types
The following types of trades and activities are strictly prohibited on the Platform:
- Trades involving funds derived from illegal activities, including money laundering, fraud, ransomware, or darknet marketplaces.
- Trades involving sanctioned individuals, entities, or jurisdictions as designated by OFAC, EU, UN, or other relevant authorities.
- Trades that facilitate tax evasion, sanctions evasion, or regulatory circumvention.
- Trades using stolen payment methods, compromised accounts, or unauthorized access to financial services.
- Wash trading or self-dealing (trading with yourself across multiple accounts to inflate trade volumes or manipulate statistics).
- Trades that involve extortion, blackmail, or coercion of the counterparty.
- Any trade structured specifically to circumvent Platform limits, fees, or restrictions.
7. Reporting Violations
If you witness or experience a violation of these Community Guidelines, please report it through the Platform's dispute system for trade-related issues, or contact us at support@mudrai.com for general violations. Reports are reviewed by the moderation team and kept confidential. We do not tolerate retaliation against users who report violations in good faith.
8. Changes to These Guidelines
These Community Guidelines may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the updated guidelines. We encourage you to review these guidelines periodically.
