1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, provide a better browsing experience, and deliver information to the site operators. The Mudrai platform uses cookies and similar technologies (such as localStorage) to ensure the platform functions correctly, remembers your preferences, and (with your consent) understands how the platform is used.
2. Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Platform to function. They cannot be disabled. Without these cookies, the Platform would not operate correctly.
| Cookie | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
mudrai_auth | Authentication token (httpOnly). Identifies your authenticated session after wallet signature. | 1 day |
mudrai-language | Stores your preferred language selection across the 16 supported languages, so pages render in your language from the first byte. | 1 year |
3. Functional Storage
These are not cookies. They are values the Platform saves in your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage to remember choices you make, and they are never transmitted to our servers.
| Storage Key | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
wagmi.* | Wallet connection state. Remembers your connected wallet so you don't need to reconnect on each visit. | Persistent |
mudrai-auth | Client-side authentication state (wallet address, user profile data). Prevents UI flash on page reload. | Persistent |
mudrai-consent | Records your cookie consent choice so you are not prompted repeatedly. | Persistent |
mudrai-referral-code | Holds a referral code from an invitation link until your first sign-in, then it is deleted. | Until first sign-in |
p2p-browse-filters | Your P2P marketplace filters, saved only if you choose to keep them between visits. | Persistent |
mudrai-risk-dismissed | Remembers that you dismissed the trading risk notice, so it is not shown again in this browsing session. | Session |
theme | Stores your light/dark/system theme preference. | Persistent |
4. Analytics Cookies
These cookies are only set if you consent to analytics by selecting "Accept All" in our cookie banner. They help us understand how users interact with the Platform so we can improve features and performance.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_dd_s_v2 | Datadog | Groups the page views and performance measurements from a single visit so they can be read together. Contains a session identifier only. | 4 hours |
_ga | Google Analytics 4 | Tells one browser apart from another so that returning visitors can be counted separately from new ones. Holds a randomly generated number, not your name, email or wallet address. | 2 years |
_ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Keeps the state of your current analytics session, so the pages you view in one sitting are counted as a single visit. | 2 years |
Analytics data is aggregated for reporting and is never linked to your wallet address or to anything you do on-chain. The Google Analytics identifier is a random number that stays in your browser between visits, which is what lets returning visitors be told apart from new ones — it does not tell us who you are, and we make no attempt to connect it to your identity.
5. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
5.1 Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit the Platform, a cookie consent banner is displayed. You can choose to accept all cookies or use essential cookies only. To change your preference, clear the mudrai-consent key from your browser's localStorage, and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
5.2 Browser Settings
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically find these options under "Privacy" or "Security" in your browser preferences. Note that disabling essential cookies may prevent the Platform from functioning correctly.
5.3 Opting Out of Analytics
If you previously selected "Accept All" and wish to opt out, clear the mudrai-consent key from your browser's localStorage and reload the page. The consent banner will appear again, and no analytics will be collected unless you accept a second time. To block Google Analytics on every site you visit, not just this one, you can install Google's Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
6. Third-Party Cookies
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics receives your IP address, the pages you view and basic details about your device and browser. Google processes that data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy, and it may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country. Separately, features such as WalletConnect integration for mobile wallet connections may set their own cookies or use localStorage, governed by that provider's policies. We do not control the cookies set by third-party wallet providers or blockchain explorers.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
